Fresh Eyes

Sometimes being too close to your work is the problem. The simple flaw, the smallest error, the thing that will cause you so much trouble down the road is invisible to you now because it is hidden in the details that you are so familiar with. What you need is a fresh set of eyes.

ProbablyNot Limited’s Fresh Eyes service is exactly that. We will review your project or business plan and look for those details you might have missed. We will “What if..” and nitpick every aspect. We will work with you to make sure your work comes off without a hitch.

You might be worried that we can’t possibly help you because we don’t know your business. In fact, not knowing your business is exactly what makes this work. We will ask all the “stupid questions” that someone who works there every day would never think to ask.

How does it work?

  • First, we sign a non-disclosure agreement, then you provide us with copies of you plans and/or access to your materials. We will review them in a timely fashion.
  • Next we meet with you and your team and we explain to you what we understand, you correct us. We ask questions, you provide answers.
  • After a brief period to go over the whole project again, we return for an intense question and answer session where we try to point out possible holes and bring up worst case scenarios, and you defend your project.
  • Lastly, we give you a written report of what we found, how well we believe you have it covered, and suggestions for what to do before you proceed.  You will also be given recordings of all meetings to be able to review at your leisure.

Frequently Asked Questions:

Q: Couldn’t I just have a friend, family member or co-worker look at my plans and get the same result?

A: It would be great if you could. However, people who know you, are close to you, or work for you can often find it difficult to be totally honest when assessing your work. They might hold back criticisms because they don’t want to hurt your feelings or have it affect their next performance review or raise. The great thing about hiring an outside party for this type of review is that, simply put, we don’t care. This is our job and what you are paying us to do. Anything less than total honesty would be a failure to perform our job.

Q: Are you going to steal my plan?

A: We sign a non-disclosure agreement, which states that we will not discuss your plans with any unauthorized persons, with each client before we ever see your project or business plan, or have access to any of your materials.

Q: I have a great idea. Will you help me make a plan?

A: No. The service we provide it to assist people who are already well on their way avoid possibly pitfalls and stumbling blocks before they begin implementation of their plans.

Q: How do I know if I’m ready for your service?

A: You should be at the point of spending time and money implementing your plan. Our service is intended to be a final sanity check before you begin to risk real losses.
